Last week, the WOR (workforce skills) class visited the SIT house-building site and the NZ Defence Force. They were introduced to career pathways that they could pursue after school and they were given the opportunity to speak to people that work daily in these fields. A big thank you to Renata Gill and Elizabeth Clark from the team at Great South who organized this for the boys.

The WOR class has been preparing for the workforce by learning to write their own CV, doing mock interviews with real employers, and learning about health and safety at work. This trip was a great way to finalize this great program.
