Congratulations to Archie Frew, this year’s Southland Boys’ High School recipient of the Invercargill North Rotary Club Year 8 Youth Merit Award!

Archie was chosen by his teachers for truly embodying the SBHS values and living the Boys’ High Way every day. Always arriving at school with a smile, Archie’s enthusiasm and positivity are contagious. In class, he’s known for his kindness, compassion, and willingness to help others - treating everyone with respect and creating a strong sense of inclusion. His impressive academic results are a testament to his determination and strong work ethic.

While there were many outstanding students considered for this honour, only one recipient can be chosen each year - and Archie’s exceptional attitude and character truly stood out.
