The annual Cultural Competition had powerful performances from all five houses - with Grant the winners on the day.
Te Whakataetae Ahurea-a-Whare Ki te Kura Tuarua o ngā Taitama Tāne ki Murihiku.
Our annual House Cultural Competition on Friday 20 September saw the houses deliver a performance that could rival any of the previous years, with Grant taking out the win!
This year, each house had to perform 5 items - karakia, haka pōwhiri, the school song, our new school haka and a cultural song of choice. The performances were powerful and full of passion, ranging from contemporary Māori songs, to Fijian hymns, and national anthems. The variety of languages used and uniqueness of each performance reflected the diverse cultures we have in our kura.
Ki ngā whare katoa o tā tātou nei kura, ko koutou ā runga!
