Thomas Gray is the South Island U17 Squash Champion!

Thomas competed in the U17 group at the South Island Age Group Squash Championships, held in Dunedin over the school holidays. After fighting his way through the opening rounds playing some very aggressive and accurate squash, Thomas won his semi-final match against an American in what was a very hard fought game.

The final saw Thomas play an opponent from Auckland in the best of 5 sets. He was soon able to pin his opponent behind him and dominated the front of the court, taking out the South Island title 11/9, 11/8, 11/5.
