Maddix Pettigrew has been selected as one of eight participants for the YES Latin America Centre of Asia-Pacific Excellence Entrepreneurship, and will be travelling to Mexico in April.
Maddix is one of 8 Young Enterprise students chosen from the 2000 students who applied throughout New Zealand - an outstanding achievement.
During the LatAm Biz programme, eight students will travel on an all-expenses-paid trip to Mexico, and participate in a business challenge with local students to develop a commercial solution to a given problem. They will visit local businesses and Kiwi organisations based in Mexico, while learning about Latin American culture through language, food, music, dance, and more.
