Jacob Boniface, Cooper Boyce, and Oliver Piggott won a Golf NZ competition for embodying the spirit of unity, teamwork and dedication.
During the recent NZ Secondary School Golf Champs, Bayleys Real Estate hosted a competition focusing on recognising participants whose teams exemplified being #altogetherbetter. Whether it was unbeatable teamwork, unbreakable spirit, or an unrelenting drive to succeed, they were looking for examples of how teams stood out from the rest. Teams that embodied the spirit of unity, teamwork and dedication.
We are delighted to announce that the team of Jacob Boniface, Cooper Boyce, and Oliver Piggott were presented this award. Golf NZ shared the following comment:
'Southland Boys' High School have won the Bayleys #alltogetherbetter award as they have shown incredible resilience to take their first NZ Secondary Schools Final. The event provides a great opportunity for the team to learn more about tournament play. All the players were extremely excited for the opportunity, displaying their outstanding team spirit, camaraderie, and eagerness to improve.'
Congratulations gentlemen! Thank you for representing your school with pride, and displaying the boys' high way in everything you do.
The prize is $500 to be used to help with the costs that were incurred to travel to the event.
