Recently our Head Boy Ruairidh MacCallum attended the Association of Boys’ Schools in New Zealand (ASBNZ) conference.
This years (ASBNZ) conference was hosted by Christ’s College in Christchurch. Over the weekend, our Head Boy Ruairidh MacCallum participated in team building activities and workshops, aimed to build leadership skills and strengthen connections between boys’ schools throughout New Zealand. The topics covered ranged from working together as a team, to modern perceptions of masculinity, and how they fit into single sex schools.
Towards the end of the conference, attendees were also given the opportunity to learn about the native plants around New Zealand, and how students can come together to contribute to our wider community.
Thank you to Christ’s College for hosting the event, and to ASBNZ for their dedication to developing the education of young men throughout the country.
